It was love at first sight.
In our day jobs we work for Vortex Manager which provides Lodging Management Services including from Goldener Inns, Sunspot Vacation Rentals, Anchor Inns and others.There are properties all over the Northwest.
So as we drove along pristine Hood Canal, we were pleasantly surprised to come upon the Blue Heron Resort. The canal was once the secret escape for Seattle's movers and shakers. Today anyone can enjoy the salt water shores at the resort, so we purchased a timeshare for when we can get away from the hustle and bustle..
Each Blue Heron owner gets 8 or more weeks per year spread throughout the year. Most can't use all those weeks so - with our background - we decided to offer our extra weeks for rent to area visitors.
Introducing At The Blue Rentals
Although rentals have always been allowed at Blue Heron, the Owners Association has not made a concerted effort to rent unused weeks for owners. That meant most of the seven million people in the state, have never heard of Blue Heron. And that is a shame because they would love it too.
As you might imagine, marketing and booking reservations is right up our alley. So after getting started we were contacted by other owners who also wanted to rent. That led to the creation of AtTheBlue.com website. A place where every owner can advertise their property to host guests.
Today we advertise Blue Heron condos on hundreds of websites including all the big ones such as AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, Tripadvisor, Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com etc.
Plus we operate or have affiliates at all the great local and regional advertising websites such as HoodCanalHideaways.com, WashingtonStateVacationRentals.com and dozens more.
Friendly Attentive Service
Our phones are open 100 hours per week, everyday of the year plus we have 24/7 after hours help too. We accept credit cards, arrange check-ins and provide customer service.
The resort front-desk provides friendly service, keeps the resort in tip top shape, and handles all housekeeping as well as owner and guest requests.
